• What is RoHS? RoHS stands for the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The UK RoHS Regulations came into force on 1 July 2006.

• Please ensure that the batteries used are of a quality brand and are in place securely inside of the battery compartment. If the batteries are inserted incorrectly or are loose this can cause problems with the function of the bin.
• Please ensure the sensor bin lid on/off switch located at the back of the bin lid head unit is turned on
• When the auto sensor bin is switched on initially, please wait approximately 10 seconds before trying to use the bin as it calibrates, the red light should flash every 7-10 seconds once operational
• To factory reset your auto sensor bin and sensor, please remove all batteries from the battery compartment for minimum of 24 hours to allow all the electrical parts and microchip within the head unit holding any charge to be completely depleted which will restore to factory setting

6 Month manufacturers guarantee against manufacturing defects.The guarantee does not cover damage caused during fitting, or caused by poor installation or servicing, accidental or malicious damage, improper use or negligence, discoloration due to long exposure to sunlight or UV lights, and general wear and tear to the item and or working parts of the item (for example, the valve in a tap, shower heads, washers, seals, any item that would be expected to be replaced periodically during the life of the item). Any working part as stated above would be covered by a 6-month warranty unless stated longer. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
