Cleaning & Maintenance – Composite Granite Sinks

A kitchen sink is a heavy duty utensil and over time may show traces of wear; regular cleaning to remove dirt is the best form of maintenance and extends its life and appearance.

To keep your sink looking its best, clean with washing-up liquid after use and wipe dry. Avoid leaving stainable waste such as tea bags in the bowl. Deep clean weekly in soft-water areas (twice or three times weekly in hard-water areas) using recommended products.

Blanco Activ, Franke Colour Sink Cleaner, Franke Magic Sponge, Cramer Mineral-Star and Schock Easy Care suit composite granite sinks. Regular use helps limit limescale and keeps the surface looking good.

Collection are usually available within 4 working hours after you have placed your order online through www.tapsuk.com. On occasion this may take a little longer but please ensure you contact our customer service to ensure your items are ready for collection before you make your special journey to us.

1. Add your eligible Click & Collect products to your shopping basket and proceed to check out. Select the shipping method "Click & Collect from Droitwich" and proceed to payment to complete your order

2. Schedule a convenient collection day and time that works for you! Simply complete the online form. Once you have confirmed your collection, travel to the warehouse in Droitwich Worcestershire to collect your purchase.

3. Once you arrive outside the warehouse, park your vehicle in one of the visitor car park space and head to reception with your order details where one of our friendly member of the warehouse team will assist you. 

4. Inspect your purchase with the assistant to ensure the product you purchased all meets your satisfaction. Once satisfied with your purchase, our assistant will help with your purchase to your vehicle.

Q: Do I need to call you before I make my journey to collect?
It is advisable for you to call our customer service team on 01527 868 500 before you make your journey so we can ensure your goods are ready for collection when you arrive. 

Q: What post code do I use for my satellite navigation?
The post code for your satellite navigation is WR9 9AH. Please note our post code is for the area and often takes people towards Howdens. You need to continue on the main one way road and look for the unit with a security fence with two yellow posts opposite Enertech,

Q: Do you have free parking?
We have several free car parking spaces allocated to the front of the building.

Q: Where do I go once I arrive?
Once you have arrived, you will be greeted by security who will guide you where to park and point you towards the main reception for the building. From here, one of our team will look meet you at reception, and take you into the collection area. Please be patient as our team may be serving other customers. 

Q: Can I view and check my purchase at time of collection?
We will check the item with you to ensure you are totally satisfied with your purchase before helping you to your car. 

Q: What if I don't like the item I have purchased?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order. Your refund will usually appear on your bank statement within 7 days, dependent on bank processing times. 

Q: What if I can not collect within the 7 days period?
We understand in certain circumstances it may take you longer than 7 days to collect your purchase. If your collection date is to exceed the 7 day period, please contact us with an estimated collection date in order for us to store your purchase in a suitable place for safe keeping. 

Q: Do you have a showroom at the warehouse?
We do have a showroom on site, with products on display, and plenty of brochures for you to look at and take away with you. Please note we don't keep everything on our website in our showroom, so we cannot guarantee that a product will be available, but our friendly team are on hand to help you with whatever they can during your visit. 

Q: Can we purchase further products at the warehouse?
Further products can be purchased at the warehouse. We have computer access that our customers can use to browse our Taps UK website and order online. It can take up to 15 minutes for the order to download to our system, so if you are short on time, we recommend you make your purchase before arriving. 

Q: Can we view other products at the warehouse?
If our team isn't too busy we will happily help you with other products, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to retrieve alternative products from the warehouse for you to look at. Keep in mind we have thousands of SKUs and finite space - so we only stock certain lines in our warehouse at all times.

Q: Do you have restroom facilities at the warehouse?
We do have restroom facilities at the warehouse. 

Q: What are your opening times for collection?
Click and collect purchases can be collected during our opening hours which are Monday to Friday from 9am till 5pm. Please ensure you arrive at least 30 minuets before closing time.
