Labour
Deva’s 2-year labour guarantee means that any items that have been installed correctly by a qualified plumber, qualify for assistance to get you back up and running as soon as possible. If it is simply a part that can be swapped over easily, then the customer support team will post this out to you to resolve the issue.
Should the problem be more serious, or not obvious from the explanation from the customer – then Deva will use their network MAPS to get a Methven approved plumber out to you to resolve the issue. The plumber will investigate and get you back up and running, whether that’s replacing a part or swapping out the whole tap for a new one.
As with all guarantees, this only includes manufacturing faults, and damage caused by accidents, misuse or neglect, or environmental impacts such as hard water or abrasive cleaners would not be covered. If you arrange a plumber to visit your installation using the service and it is found to be any of the above, then you may be charged for the visit.
Parts
This is the standard guarantee for the tap, but past 2 years it no longer covers the working parts of the tap and the MAPS network is no longer available free of charge. Working parts are available, but they would be chargeable.
It is also worth noting, that all of the information above is applied for domestic installations only – and that for commercial applications the warranty period is reduced to 12 months for both instances.
